Like all cultures, the main meal in the Greek cuisine is greatly varied. This includes vegetarian, legumes, youvetsi, pilafs of various sorts, casseroles, roasts, gemista (stuffed vegetables – both vegetarian and non vegetarian), pittes, moussaka and pastichio, seafood dishes, salads BBQ’s etc.
Under this heading – everyday Greek – we will be covering a variety of dishes, sometimes concentrating purely on vegetarian or legumes or pittes.
Reason for this is that there are a lot of options within these subheadings which I believe need special mention and attention.
In 3-4 hours we’ll have ourselves a lovely array of food to eat with our wine and lots of funny stories get exchanged of various experiences.
